Best Friends - Monday's Child # 20

Monday's Child prompt for children's poetry or verse

When Harriet Mouse came round for tea
she had a cold it was plain to see.
They'd been friends for years these two little mice
and their tea times together were always so nice.
When the time finally came for goodbye to be said
Molly Mouse told her friend "Now you get right to bed!"
So dear Harriet took herself home for a rest
as Molly always knew what to do for the best.
When next tea time came Harriets snuffles were gone
and they ate and they chattered until well after one.
They had shared so much all over the years
that when Molly sneezed they giggled till tears.
It seemed only right they should share the cold too
as very best friends, well what else would they do?

Sharing EVERYTHING, that's what friendship is all about :).
Can almost hear the two giggling over harmless little secrets.
