Thank you for this one. It reminded me of so many things and times in my own past. You might want to post this to We Write Poems prompt for this week. I know that you have inspired my thoughts in that direction.
I'm so jealous of those souls who are deep and thinky...yes, that's you. I'm jealous. I can do a "roses are red, violets are blue," but it won't even make sense...

From a fellow fist-pounding screamer. ;-)
Sometimes it is worthwhile to open your ears to the unknown and to the unpleasant. Thank you for leading me here - I will surely return.

A very nice poem. Nice to know that you found a freedom, from within those shadows.
Best wishes,
Eileen

This is a strong poem, Deborah. It makes me think of the 'person' many of us have living deep within us, the person who arises when unexpected!
I wish I was a screamer. Instead I deal with the stress in other negative ways :o(
Thank you all so much for stopping by and your comments x
I like how out of the shadow the emotions surfaced and were heard!

I like it when the writer doesn't explain evry detail. It leaves room for imagination. Thank-you.
Thank you David :o)
