The early November sunshine cast golden rays that flooded the room, showing every bit of dust on every surface.
Annie smiled to herself and grabbed the lead.
"Come on, Lady."
Lady scampered to her side, tail wagging.
They headed off, breathing in the wonderful crispness of the air and spent an hour together in the glorious morning sun.
As they neared home the sky turned grey and clouded over.
Once inside, Annie looked again around the room ... the dust was gone.
She bent down to give Lady a stroke, and smiled.
"A good walk sorts everything out, doesn't it, girl."

Very clever, and such a lovely story too. I loved it. :-)
Oh, such a nice walk. I wonder if a walk would do my laundry this morning! But you are right that often it is best to walk away from all "dust" in life.
I love this. Time and a good walk certainly can take care of things! Great take on this week's prompt.
I remember November walks with my dog :)
A walk always clears the dust in my head. Wonderful story!
I love it. A new perspective - I like it much better than dusting.
Fun and unexpected direction you took here. I liked it very much!
=)
Wonderful take on the prompt!

Everyone seems to have stepped up with their centus this week. I loved this. Maybe that's what I need to do, is go out and clear my head from the dust. I could use someone though to clean the dust off my furniture though, really, ha, ha.
A good walk certainly does. Excellent!
A delightful story.
Not sure the dust in my house would leave just like that, them bunnies are HUGE! Loved this whimsical take on the prompt. Nicely done!
Very sweet. Lovely story. I see it! I can even hear the dog breathing and wagging its tail!
Best wishes,
Anna

That's my idea of cleaning house!
just wondering if I walk my dog do you think I could come home tono ironing great thought
Great story, love the perspective shift.
Although I do like sitting in a chair and watching the dust move through shafts of bright light, it's just not the same on the surfaces :)
This was such a wonderful little slice of life. Dogs can really help us remember the important things, can't they? Loved this take on the prompt. Kat
How cute...reminds me of when I take my own dogs out.

Excellent job! I love how the problems and issues that cloud my mind daily get swept away when I am walking my dog. You nailed it this week!
Lovely and refreshing! Now I need to go on a walk!
This is universally appealing to all of us dog-lovers out here. They truly can perform magic in our lives.
Your Centus was very visual. I was with you all the way. Good writing.
Thanks..........cj
Clever and lovely.
Why does the dust never appear when I walk our weiner dog, though?
Rats!
