A Good Walk - Saturday Centus # 28

Week 28 of Saturday Centus this weeks prompt is to use up to 100 words (not including the prompt) using the line ...."The early November sunshine cast golden rays..."

The early November sunshine cast golden rays that flooded the room, showing every bit of dust on every surface.

Annie smiled to herself and grabbed the lead.

"Come on, Lady."

Lady scampered to her side, tail wagging.

They headed off, breathing in the wonderful crispness of the air and spent an hour together in the glorious morning sun.

As they neared home the sky turned grey and clouded over.

Once inside, Annie looked again around the room ... the dust was gone.

She bent down to give Lady a stroke, and smiled.

"A good walk sorts everything out, doesn't it, girl."

Oh, such a nice walk. I wonder if a walk would do my laundry this morning! But you are right that often it is best to walk away from all "dust" in life.

I love this. Time and a good walk certainly can take care of things! Great take on this week's prompt.

I love it. A new perspective - I like it much better than dusting.

Everyone seems to have stepped up with their centus this week. I loved this. Maybe that's what I need to do, is go out and clear my head from the dust. I could use someone though to clean the dust off my furniture though, really, ha, ha.

Great story, love the perspective shift.
Although I do like sitting in a chair and watching the dust move through shafts of bright light, it's just not the same on the surfaces :)

This was such a wonderful little slice of life. Dogs can really help us remember the important things, can't they? Loved this take on the prompt. Kat

This is universally appealing to all of us dog-lovers out here. They truly can perform magic in our lives.

Your Centus was very visual. I was with you all the way. Good writing.

Thanks..........cj
