Water - Thursday Think Tank Prompt 12

Poets United holds a weekly poetry prompt.
The Thursday Think Tank
This weeks prompt word is
W A T E R

Your love
was an ocean
that washed
away my past
no troubled heart
no hurts to moan
I stood
smoothed and breathless
  quenched
and I smiled
and I laughed
and I travelled your seas
where the stars would shine
and where sunsets lasted
forever.

Beautiful. It flows like gentle waves on the shore.

Oh this is so beautiful! I know that feeling when standing beside the sea, it must be amazing to feel that way with an actual human:) Lovely poem, so well written!
