The Bouncing Turn

I'm severely lacking in sleep.
My lovely partner has an affliction which is driving me potty.
At night, besides his feet shuffling, his tongue sucking (don't ask) his squealing dreams and his snoring ... he does his bouncing turn.
I know turning over in your sleep is a completely normal thing to do, you just ease yourself gently, sleepily over and settle ... or so you'd think.
My partner gets ready for his turn with this little grumbling sound then starts getting this bounce going like he's about to do a triple flip or something.
He then grabs ALL of the covers with his arms and in three very large bounces that are strong enough to make my side of the bed bounce too, he turns taking all of the covers with him.
I'm left with nothing on me after being violently bounced awake and then have to wrestle with him to get the covers back as he manages every time to make them all 'tuck' in around him.
He's a lot bigger than me and I just know one of these nights when he really gets going and does one of his extra powerful bounces ...
he's going to PING  me right off the bed!

eek! you poor thing! my guy is very noisy too.

we should call it: suffering the effects of second hand snoring,

I have a friend who has been married for nearly 20 years. He and his wife have a loving relationship but sleep in separate rooms. He has a hearing issue that requires a white noise machine and she snores. If only she snored with the soft sounds of the surf upon a shore, perhaps they could stay in the same room.

Have you considered nailing down the bed covers? *winks*

my boyfriend doesn't do that but he does make cute little noises and sounds with his tongue .

My husband snores, grinds his teeth, talks. When he takes MSM ( a supplement) it gets better. When he's stressed it gets worse. I sometimes make him sleep on the couch just so i can catch up on sleep :)

Oh dear, I shouldn't laugh, I know, but I actually chuckled for quite a while, imagining you going PINGGG and ending up on the floor, looking ever so hurt and annoyed.

Get a bigger bed or even better, a continental one, i.e. a twin bed with two duets.

2 singlecots will do the trick...
when you are too much in need of sleep ,just push it a little away otherwise put it together.
