I Saw Sunday where you can join in with pictures, thoughts, observations, anything you like!
My lovely partner took this photo for me of the sheep in the field next to our house. The three above spent absolutely ages watching the sheep below investigating beneath the trunk. It was having a really thorough check underneath and I could just imagine it saying
"Looks a bit dodgy to me, there's definitely some rot down here, you better be careful, it could go at any moment!"
The three up above were completely unappreciative of its efforts, and when the safety sheep did finally decide that it was okay for climbing and attempted to join them, they wouldn't even let it up ... and after all those safety checks it had done too! The Meanies.

Those meanies ;o)
I love the photo.
In a former life that ewe might have been an entomologist. She is still looking for rare beetles beneath the bark.
That is a great pic!
How funny! I've never thought about sheep being bullies;-)
Great photo!
Who knows what is under that log. :-)
Great 'I Saw Sunday'- thanks for linking. :-)
The photo is intriguing. My first thought was that she was stuck, or had been lured there by a one legged beetle with nefarious intentions. Thanks for all the story lines, lol.

Seen with your usual humour! good photo.
Thank you everso much for stopping by and your comments everyone x :o)
Did you know that sheep - English sheep at any rate - can't walk backwards? The silly creature was probably working out how to get through the fallen trunk head first.
And the others were waiting for a revelation. Or maybe they were just muttering "silly cow, eh, sheep."
Deborah, That is pretty cool photo! I guess all communities have their bullies;; just never thought of a sheep being one of them...
Funny photo, great comments to go with it. Thanks for the intro to a new blog, will definitely check it out.
Thank you all everso much for your comments X :o)
and Friko ... no, I didn't know they couldn't walk backwards!
I'll shall be them watching now :o)
cute observation, naughty sheeps :)
The 'Safety Sheep' how adorable - wouldn't it be handy if we could all have one of those to test out the path ahead..lovely..I always thought sheep were a little one-dimensional..shall never underestimate our woolly friends again..Jae
Thank you Jae and Trisha x :o)
You can't have a picture of sheep and no sheep-jokes, right? Right??
I don't want to be that guy, but it does need to happen.
Plus, there's a log in this picture. Sheep? Log? Seriously.
My juvenile sense of humor is overwhelmed.

How cool to have sheep next to you. How cool to have a field next to you. Seems so foreign to this old urban jungle dweller. I love it!
